Yvonne Nalani Meulemans For Faculty In collaboration with faculty, I provide course-integrated instruction on finding, evaluating, and using information (including citations styles and plagiarism) in your course assignments. Such instruction fosters critical thinking, the development of information literacy skills, and students who are better prepared to learn in their chosen field. For your courses, I create course guides and subject guides. Contact me for professional assistance when conducting your own research. I'm also responsible for developing the library's collections in the subject areas listed above. Ask me about library materials you'd like us to acquire so we can develop a library collection to facilitate student learning and your research. For Students Students can stop by my office any time or make an appointment for in-depth research help. Contact me or stop by with even short questions, like how to cite something or figure out one of the Library's databases. Research Interests Assessment of information literacy in undergraduates. Process-oriented analysis of the research practices of undergraduates. Evidence-based practice curriculum in nursing education and how to integrate such education into professional practice |
