75 possible points: 10 points – Overall style/clarity of writing 20 points – Summary of your CSFI results the second time around 20 points – Comparison as to how your scores were similar/different 20 points – Analysis as to how your Action Plan influenced the change in results 5 points – Attach a copy of your CSFI I Action Plan
Leadership Philosophy Paper Due 11/28 5-7 pages
60 possible points: 10 points – Overall style/clarity of writing 10 points – Lit review (can use library module work) on various leadership theories 10 points - Description of leadership as observed during your engagement experience 20 points – Reflection on your own leadership style during your engagement experience 10 points – Based on your experiences and theories, what is your leadership philosophy?
Final Project/Presentation The bulk of material for this presentation will come from the work you do in your Leadership Philosophy Paper. You may also choose to include elements of your self-analysis for CSFI and or lessons you learned through the Career Module. The purpose of this presentation is to polish your public speaking skills, and provide a 3-dimensional view of your Leadership Engagement activity. Emphasis should be placed on reporting what you learned from your engagement activity – about the activity, your self-reflection and your plans for leadership/engagement in the future.
3-5 minute presentation Sign-ups for presentation slots will happen during class on 11/26 Presentations will begin on 11/30 and run through 12/7 125 possible points: 25 points – Use of media; creative presentation format that engages the audience 25 points – Organization of information, clarity of presentation 40 points – Demonstrated self-reflection and increased knowledge about your engagement topic and leadership theories. 20 points – What does your future of engagement/leadership look like? 15 points – Courtesy and attention paid to classmate presentations – I will collect feedback sheets after each presentation period. |
