Woodruff GEL 101 Research Project, Presentation and Paper (75points)           

As a group, you will have the opportunity to explore a current issue on multiculturalism impacting the local college environment and larger society through this 3-part research project.

The first part: choose research topic a on a current issue on multiculturalism that will examine how issues of diversity, culture and leadership are experienced in society and the college setting in general. 

The second part: an 8-10 page APA style, paper.  This paper will introduce your topic, its relevance, the methods/procedures you used, experience of the group, the results and a discussion of its relevance and how it’s connected to college students.  You must use at least 5 scholarly references (books, journal articles) to support your research. 

The third part:  a 15-minute group PowerPoint presentation.
