  1. Historical: How has the concept of the “average American family” changed over time? When did the greatest changes occur?

 

  1. Sociological: What determines whether families have friends from different cultures?

 

  1. Scientific: How might genetic mutations in families affect their health?

 

  1. Psychological: What are the effects of alcoholic parents on the relationships of their adult children?

 

  1. Political: How has the tax cut affected the quality of life for the American family?

 

  1. Economic:  How has the fluctuation of the stock market affect the quality of life of the family?

 

  1. Artistic: How has the artistic representation of the family affected the cultural perception of the family?
