How do you do it?

With the release of SFX version 2, Ex Libris offers the option of a Z39.50 Plug-In.  This is a "hook" to your LOCAL_CATALOG target that uses the Z39.50 protocol to query your OPAC. Detailed information about the  plug-in can be found in the SFX documentation. It's very simple to set-up, requiring that you add some configuration information about your catalog's Z39.50 server.

What does that do?

In many ways this supplants the ISSN load option described on the previous page.
