into age appropriate sections as well as

FedStats
for Kids--A page of government sites
aimed at the younger internet searcher.
The subject area of each site reflects the
purpose of the parent agency, such as science,
transportation, health or women's issues.

Girlshealth--Specific
resources for young women (ages 10-16) on fitness, health,
relationships, and more.

Kids.gov--The Federal government search
engine, USA.gov, offers this child-friendly
directory to a variety of topics including
careers, geography and health grouped by age.
US Department of Energy: Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy site.
Department of Agriculture site for healthy eating.

NASA
Kids--Find out about space and National
Aeronautics and Space Administration through
this site.

National Weather Service--A page for
children on weather including learning tools
and games.

POTUS:
Presidents of the United States--A portal
to information from a variety of sources
on each of the US Presidents. Assembled
under the guidance of the Internet Public
Library, a variety of documents, biographical
information, speeches and facts are available.

United Nations' Cyberschoolbus--Information
about member nations as well as other learning materials.
Includes
InfoNation, a database allowing data comparison
between selected member countries.

Whitehousekids
is hosted at the Presidential website and includes both
learning and fun (Barneycam) features.
