The following types of ID cards are available in the Media Library:

Student Cards

• Student
  This category is used for all currently enrolled CSUSM students. There is a charge of $5 for this type of card.
• Nursing Student (Nurse Refresher Student)
  This category is used for students who are in the Nursing program.  There is a charge of $5 for this type of card.
• Computing
  This category is used for student assistants who work in IITS. The department pays $5 for these cards. 

Faculty Cards

• Faculty
  This category is used for all currently employed professors. There is no charge for this type of card.
• Nurse Faculty          
  This category is for Nurse Faculty who are teaching in the Nursing Program. There is no charge for this type of card.
• Teaching Associate
  This category is used for students who are employed by the campus as a Teaching Associate. There is no charge for this type of card.

Staff Cards

• Staff
  This category is used for all currently employed staff. There is no charge for this type of card.
• Foundation
  This category is for Foundation staff.  There is no charge for this type of card.

Administrator Cards

• Administrator
  This category is for administrators and includes the President, Provost, Associate and Assistant Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors and Assistant Directors.  There is no charge for this type of card.
• Emergency
  Emergency ID cards are given to administrators who hold positions of responsibility in case of a campus emergency.  There is no charge for this type of card.

Other Cards

• Emeritus
  This category is for Emeritus faculty and they don’t have an expiration date.  There is no charge for this type of card.
• CSUFaculty
  This category is for certain faculty from other CSUs who need Library Services.  Their eligibility is determined at the 3rd floor check out desk. There is no charge for this type of card
• Visiting Scholar
  This category is used for professors who are visiting the campus for an extended amount of time. There is no charge for this type of card.
