Media Library Video and Audio Editing Equipment
The Kellogg Media Library serves as the one-stop shop for video and audio media editing

Equipment available: The media library offers two editing rooms in which students can capture from a variety of media including VHS tapes, DVDs, DV (Digital Video) mini cassettes, and audio cassettes. Additionally, any student supplied device with an S-Video, Composite, or Firewire output can connect via our Matrox breakout box to

Software available: In addition to such general use applications as Microsoft Word and Powerpoint, these systems offer the following software for use in capturing and editing multimedia

 

Equipment
  (Kellogg 2116 only) A state of the art multimedia cart containing a VCR/DVD combo unit, a DV tape player/recorder, a cassette deck, and headphone amp
  (Kellogg 2115 only) A DVD/VCR combo unit which allows easy capturing from VHS tapes and DVDs
  A plasma screen wall mount television
  A flat-bed scanner
