Diversity

The seal located at founder's plaza on the Cal State San Marcos campus reflects the university's commitment to diversity. The symbols engraved on the seal represent various academic subjects, people of different ethnicities, and the global community that is CSUSM. The Library echoes these values in its mission statement, saying in part:

"Our services, collections, teaching and community outreach honor and reflect diverse perspectives, learning styles and ways of knowing."
