See Related Story: The Murder of JR Warren
On
July 4, 2000, a black gay man named Arthur "JR" Warren was beaten
unconscious and run over with a Camaro to fake a hit-and-run accident.
Brooklyn-based artist Rory Golden moved to West Virginia to become part of
JR
Warren's community and research the violent hate crime that informs this
exhibit.
