Government Documents

The following is a selected list of resources for starting research in Government Documents. For further assistance, contact Judith Downie, Humanities & Government Documents Librarian.

Government documents are the official publications of a government body, including federal, state, and local agencies. They are a good source for economic and demographic statistics, as well as reports on a wide range of issues. Access to government documents and information can be through public, private or commercial agencies. Here is a link to help getting started in understanding government documents.
