How do I Get Books?
Distance Learners can use Interlibrary Loan to get books, articles (print and electronic), and media sent to them from the CSUSM Library collection and libraries worldwide.
Registering for Interlibrary Loan
First time users need to set up an Interlibrary Loan account. Once you've registered for Interlibrary Loan you'll need to complete the Distance Education Services Application Form.
Requesting items from Interlibrary Loan
Distance Learners can request books through Interlibrary Loan and have them mailed directly to their home, free of charge. You are responsible for the cost of returning the item via a method that is traceable (U.P.S. or U.S. Mail with delivery confirmation, etc.). Articles can be requested through OneSearch, the "Get It" link in the databases, or directly through your Interlibrary Loan account.
