See Related Story: The Murder of JR Warren

On July 4, 2000, a black gay man named Arthur "JR" Warren was beaten
unconscious and run over with a Camaro to fake a hit-and-run accident.

Brooklyn-based artist Rory Golden moved to West Virginia to become part of JR
Warren's community and research the violent hate crime that informs this exhibit.

 Through automobile rear view mirrors
 and two-sided, mixed media drawings,
See Related Story is designed to foster
 dialogue on race, sexuality, and
 violence.

Opening reception at noon on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. On display at the
University Library 3rd floor gallery through May 16th, free and open to the public
 during all library hours.
