Pāsefika Scholar Association (PISA)
Description
The Pāsefika Scholar Association (PISA) is a student-led organization at Cal State San Marcos dedicated to building a strong, supportive community for Pacific Islander (Pāsefika) students. Grounded in the pillars of culture, community, and academics, PISA provides a "home away from home" where students can build community, celebrate their identities, and thrive both personally and academically.
Our mission is to uplift and empower Pacific Islander students by fostering cultural pride, increasing campus visibility, and supporting student success. Through cultural events, mentorship, educational workshops, and outreach. We are humbly committed to strengthening our community while sharing the rich and diverse traditions of Oceania with the larger campus and surrounding community.
