As we look ahead to National Library Week April 19th-25th, 2026 I am reflecting on the many changes that have happened in libraries as well as the things that are enduring regardless of what is happening around us. This event has been happening since 1958 where the American Library Association invites libraries of all types to celebrate the many contributions that we make to our respective communities by fostering lifelong learning, creativity, and social justice.
Here are some of the ways in which the University Library provides support as a strategic partner in your academic journey across many areas thanks to our knowledgeable experts!
- We offer instruction classes; research assistance; access to many items and resources/guides, including access to rare materials as part of our Special Collections
- Learn more about ways to save money on expensive textbooks or use Resource Sharing to request an item
- Looking for a space to study or hang out? Stop by The Makery to craft and 3D print or reserve a Study Room
- If you don’t know where to start with an assignment, our librarians are here to help!
