Library Award for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Accepting Submissions

The annual Library Award for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity is accepting submissions. Students can win a $500 cash prize and public recognition for their work. We like all types of projects! The award is open to all majors and all types of projects (including group projects). Submissions can range from written research papers to creative works such as art, music, lyrics, poetry, dance, etc. 

The Library Award for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity recognizes CSUSM undergraduate students who demonstrate sophistication and originality in research projects and creative works, and reflection upon the research/creation process.

Up to seven $500 cash prizes will be awarded in three categories:

  • Creative Works
  • Empirical Research
  • Interpretive Analysis

The work must have been created as part of a class or Independent Study at CSUSM during the following terms: spring 2023, summer 2023, fall 2023, or spring 2024.

Submission Deadline: March 15, 2024 (11:59PM PST)
