University Library Rejoins the San Diego Circuit Resource Sharing Network

The CSUSM Library is pleased to announce that, as of summer 2026, we have rejoined the San Diego Circuit resource sharing network. The Circuit includes UC San Diego, the University of San Diego, San Diego State University, the San Diego Public Library, and the San Diego County Library.

CSUSM previously exited the Circuit in 2019. The consortium has since transitioned its requesting system to Clarivate’s Rapido Consortial Borrowing platform, which integrates seamlessly with our existing library systems and makes our return possible.

With this new platform, Circuit requesting will be fully integrated with CSU+, eliminating the need for users to navigate to a separate interface to place requests, as was previously required. We will also reinstate courier service with Circuit libraries, ensuring faster delivery of materials available within the network.

Rejoining the San Diego Circuit significantly expands the range of materials available to our campus community and shortens turnaround times for requested items — strengthening access, convenience, and collaboration across the region.
