Photographs and Stories about Agriculture, People and Water in the Imperial Valley

 The compelling photographs of photographer Leland Foerster provide insight
 into Imperial Valley's border issues. View the daily lives and local struggles over
 water allocation; immigration; meat-packing and food production; and the people
 whose lives are effected by these matters.

 Opening reception Tuesday, September 9, 2008, 1:30-3:45 pm. Lectures at 1:30 pm
 and 3 pm in KEL 3400. On display at the University Library 3rd floor gallery through
 December 5th,
free and open to the public during all library hours.
