Lockers for Contactless Pickup

Use OneSearch and the Luxer app to obtain books and other items.

How to Request Locker Pickup

Mail to Home Continues through the fall semester. Due dates are no longer being extended and materials must be returned by the date they are due to avoid charges. Renewals can be requested for Interlibrary Loan materials but are determined by the owning library and may not necessarily be granted. If a renewal is not granted, a second copy may be requested.
Requests for digital access to materials Will be filled when possible. Please use the Interlibrary Loan request forms to request digital access. If digital access is unavailable, a physical copy may be ordered. If you do not wish to receive a physical copy, please indicate so in the notes field of your request.

Research Help

Having trouble using the library to do research for your courses?

CSUSM librarians can help you with that and are available to help you via chat, telephone, and email during the hours of operation listed on the Library Hours and Events webpage. All other times, librarians from our partner libraries can help you through chat! Keep in mind that your CSUSM librarians are more familiar with your assignments and CSUSM resources, so our partner librarians may forward your after-hour questions to us for follow up on the next business day.

Have a question that needs a bit more time and attention?

Make an appointment with a subject specialist librarian. Subject specialists know how to find the best information for your projects and papers because they are familiar with the databases, books, and resources for that subject.

Special Collections

Special Collections is open for virtual research consultations. Requests for reproductions of archival materials are possible, subject to staff schedules, condition of materials, and amount of documentation to be reproduced. In-person research requests may be possible dependent on campus/county situation and departmental scheduling. Please contact or fill out the Special Collections and University Archives Request Form to schedule an appointment. Please contact to discuss History instruction, History course guide creation, or Special Collections instruction.
