Dia de los Muertos Celebration

Join us for a Dia de los Muertos celebration on Thursday, November 2nd from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Kellogg Plaza. There will be ofrendas (altars) celebrating the lives of family, friends, and individuals of personal or professional importance who have passed away. Stop by to learn about this traditional cultural event.

12 p.m. - 1 p.m.

  • Make your own calavera (skull) and sugar skull

Books about Dia de los Muertos from the CSUSM Library will be on display and are available to be checked out after 1:30 p.m.

This event is hosted by the CSUSM University Library in collaboration with University Police Department, Slow Lane Familia Inland Empire Car Club, Latinx Student Center, Center for Research and Engagement in STEM Education, Latino Association of Faculty and Staff, College Assistance Migrant Program, and North County Informador.
